True North Equities Limited (TNEL) is a boutique private equity investment company that currently operates two funds, North West Syndicate Limited Partnership (NWSLP) and Due North Limited Partnership (DNLP).
The Directors of TNEL are independently successful businessmen. Equipped with extensive professional business acumen and business contacts, we are driven to unearth business opportunities, (that others would struggle to find) where we can add value and enable organisations to reach their full potential. The Directors invite high net worth, experienced investors to partner with us, to grow the funds, and to spread investment risk across a range of businesses in the expansion stage of their lifecycle.
Our investment philosophy is to invest in high quality businesses that meet our investment criteria. We invest a capital sum and contribute management and/or governance expertise to these businesses. Our investment ensures the companies are well funded and better managed with strong governance.

Due North was established to provide capital for intensive farming and agricultural businesses in New Zealand that have the potential for significant scale with but require investment in modern infrastructure and technology and appropriate corporate governance and leadership.
Together with our stakeholders via our fund, we seek to elevate the value and scale of our businesses to make the most of New Zealand’s environmentally competitive advantages.
